University Counseling Mission The core mission of university counselling is to help students find suitable matches for their strengths, interests, and future goals in higher education. Goal of University Counseling Assist students in identifying, applying to, and securing admissions to colleges and universities that meet their needs, nurture their talents, and challenge them. Foster the development of decision-making and time management skills, as well as refine social and emotional intelligence throughout the process. Early Planning Begin discussions in Grade 10. Solidify goals in Grade 11. Submit applications during the first two months of Grade 12. Support & Guidance Provide timely information, counseling, and support to help develop the skills needed to successfully complete each phase of the university process. Offer a welcoming approach to both students and parents, maintaining strong relationships with universities and providing high-quality guidance and advocacy.
