(CHS)
Cambridge High School (CHS) is a private, coeducational, bilingual (English and Arabic) school located in Amman, Jordan.
Its central location in West Amman makes it easily accessible and convenient to reach for all of its community members.
The school was founded in 2000 and received its International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) authorization in March 2004, thus becoming
a member of the Internationl Baccalaureate IB World Schools.
CHS's first IBDP cohort graduated in May 2006, and since then the school has grown exponentially in size and performance.
In 2008, Cambridge High School continued its growth and development by receiving its authorization for the Middle Year Programme (MYP).
The Cambridge Primary Curriculum is a framework for children's primary education, which is aimed at children aged 5-11.
Cambridge Primary is an international curriculum used in over 160 countries around the world.
The programme focuses on engaging children in global topics, getting them to think critically and develop a passion for learning.
The Primary curriculum is designed to provide learners with a solid foundation wich they can build on.



CHS
History
We have successfully graduated 14 classes with all students moving on to university. We are an IB World School since March, 2004. We follow the diploma programme as set by the International Baccalaureate Organization. Our school enrollment hovers around 1000 – 1200 students from 3 – 18 year olds. CHS student body is composed of children from 30 different countries. Being located in Rabia puts us in the heart of west Amman. We believe in hard work, discipline, respect and enjoyment. A top priority that goes hand in hand with our academic work is our activity programme.
