We believe in the importance of environment and being socially responsible, this is why our IB CAS
students in collaboration with Cairo Amman Bank and the United Nations Development Programme
(UNDP) are implementing the “Life On Land” global goal.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs, also known as Global Goals), are a universal call to action to
end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
As a part of their initiative in pursuing the Global Goals, Cairo Amman Bank chose to pursue is the 15th
goal which is “Life on Land” in partnership with our school, as we both hope to fix the suffocation we
have done to our planet, and restore the beauty of our home, Jordan.
CAS IB students did their session with Cairo Amman Bank and today, Feb 15th, they engaged 1-
12 graders in a fun and interactive challenge to plant 700 seeds. Students were required to plant
the seed card in a pot and will monitor the growth of the plant until the end of the challenge.
The student with the healthiest and tallest plant will win a small surprise donated by Cairo Amman Bank.
