Cross-age tutoring (Peer to Peer) is a CAS student initiative to and support their fellow students in areas of need.
This initiative is scheduled twice per week during homeroom where student mentors are assigned to help build skills needed in different subject areas.
Cambridge High School came to the conclusion that when peers support each other in developing skills and knowledge, results are more fruitful adding to the endeavours, the harmony and bond taking place in the school community resulting from this vibrant initiative.
From our practice model sessions, the experience was successful and became a popular activity in the school community. Students are in line waiting for their turn to proudly take part in this initiative.
